John Muir Way - coast to coast route map

Revised in 2022 this map shows the entire coast to coast route of the John Muir Way at 1:75,000 scale. This fully waterproof map is designed to accompany the Rucksack Readers John Muir Way Guidebook, but can be used on its own. 

The John Muir Way is a coast-to-coast route running across central Scotland for 134 miles (215km) from Helensburgh on the Clyde to Dunbar on the Forth. It is waymarked throughout and passes close to plenty of pubs, cafes and accommodation. 

The route can be done in one go - coast to coast, or in sections. It appeals to cyclists as much as to walkers. This map (scale 1:75,000) is designed for cyclists and walkers and has been created in partnership with NatureScot. It complements the Rucksack Readers guidebook with the same title.
