St Cuthbert's Way

Written by Ron Shaw, this is the official guide to St Cuthbert's Way. 

This 3rd edition comes with a full-colour map, based on Ordnance Survey 1:50,000 scale mapping. 

The guide describes the trail West to East from Melrose to Lindisfarne and includes a chapter on walking the other way - East to West. It also describes the link to Berwick railway station. It is illustrated in full colour with photographs throughout and provides lots of fascinating historical information. It also provides advice on appropriate equipment, way-marking, car parking, accommodation and the Country Code.

At the back of the book is a form to obtain a completion certificate - make sure you get stamps from the certification points along the way if you intend to send for a certificate.
