A Wainwright is one of the 214 fells described by Alfred Wainwright in his seven volume Pictorial Guide to the Lakeland Fells. The biggest Wainwright is England's Highest mountain - Scafell Pike (978m), the smallest is Borrowdale's Castle Crag at 290m.
