This book covers the 590km from Gretna to Chester in 28 stages. This section of coast is less well known than some areas but offers stunning beaches, views of the Lake District mountains, and fabulous salt marshes full of wildlife. It includes the Solway Firth, Morecambe Bay, Blackpool and the Wirral. 

The guidebook includes information on facilities, accommodation and public transport.
