Thames Path National Trail signs

For Christmas we are selling off some exceptionally RARE, or completely UNIQUE fingerposts, for an extra-special gift.
These are signs that have been out on the Trail but have now been replaced and are looking for a new home. They're all unique and have pointed the way for travellers on the trail for many years.

TP1 EXCEPTIONALLY RARE
This sign was being lovingly created by our craftspeople to go on the North Bank in London, pointing to the old end of the Thames Path – The Thames Barrier, but then the extension to Woolwich was agreed, making this sign redundant. This also makes it EXCEPTIONALLY RARE! Only this, and TP2 (South Bank) were ever made, and they will never be recreated.
States ‘Thames Path. Public Footpath. North Bank, 32 miles to Barrier.’

TP2 EXCEPTIONALLY RARE

TP5 - RARER FIND
This sign still has the original yellow paint in the arrow, which is no longer used. The yellow signified that this was a ‘footpath’ sign. States ‘Thames Path Public Footpath’

Condition: Weathered, with woodworm holes, but still solid. Rear is more weathered – see photos.

TP6 - RARE FIND
This sign states a location (Culham Lock) and still has the original yellow paint in the arrow, which is no longer used. The yellow signified that this was a ‘footpath’ sign. States ‘Thames Path Public Footpath. Culham Lock, 1.5 miles’

These signs are being sold by the trail team and the money raised goes back in to managing the Thames Path.
