This waterproof map case from Lifeventure is perfect for all maps and navigation aids. It is recommended by the Ordnance Survey - and they know a thing or two about maps. We also recommend them for use with the Official A-Z National Trail guides - which fit easily into the case. You can also use them to protect electrical devices - the clear windows allow touch screen devices to be used.
Both sides of the case are clear, so you can see the maximum amount of your map without the need to remove and refold it. It comes with a lanyard, but can also be secured to your kit using the the four lash points.
If you are wondering whether you need a map case, and wondering which one to buy take a look at these - they are tested by being submerged into 1m deep water for 30 mins, so they should protect your map even on the Pennine Way.
It is made from durable 420D nylon fabric with a double sided TPU window.
The IPX7 rated construction prevents the ingression of water, sand and dirt.
To seal insert your belongings into the case, run your thumb and index finger along each side of the two track LocTop closure and shut with the secure fastening.
