Wigwam® Holidays is listed with the National Trails of England and Wales as an accommodation provider for anyone tackling these fabulous footpaths.

The National Trails attract around 70 million visitors a year, and a glamping Wigwam® Cabin is close to many of the Trails. As the winter walking season is now upon us, we’ve teamed up with Pot-A-Doodle Do Wigwam® Village, located at Borewell Farm in the village of Scremerston, near Berwick upon Tweed, Northumberland.

One lucky winner will win a three-night stay (for up to two adults and two children) at this delightful site. To be in with a chance of winning, click here

Pot-A-Doodle Do Wigwam® Village is situated just minutes away from stretches of golden sands and with spectacular views of Holy Island. Northumberland is the perfect location for a weekend getaway or a week-long adventure. Alnwick Castle, Paxton House, the Farne Islands, Heatherslaw Light Railway and mile upon mile of unspoilt coastline are just a few of the activities making for a truly memorable holiday.

Pot-A-Doodle Do includes excellent site facilities, perfect for tired feet and limbs at the end of a long walk, including a licensed restaurant, shop, an interactive Art Centre and kids’ play area. Nearby walks include St Cuthbert’s Way, St Oswald’s Way and the Northumberland Coast Path. There are 27 Wigwam® Cabins at Pot-A-Doodle Do along with three Yurts; the site opened in 2005 and has grown year on year to keep up with popular demand. The site attracts many walkers throughout the year, whether it’s at the end of a steady stroll or as part of a once-in-a-lifetime walking experience.

And here’s some exciting news! Pot-A-Doodle Do is just moments from the proposed North East stretch of the England Coast Path, the newest National Trail, clocking up about 2,795 miles in total. Sections are being developed around every nook and cranny of England’s spectacular coastline. The proposed North East section will start from just above Berwick upon Tweed on the very edge of the Scottish Borders, before heading down to the Wash.

Wigwam® Holidays Pot-A-Doodle Do is just moments from the start – or the end! – of this proposed part of the England Coast Path National Trail.
